Oh Chin Boon

Chin Boon is a Java software developer by profession. His daily job includes from time to time designing, developing, maintaining, and re-factoring Java codes and software architectures. He chooses to spend most of his time outside work trying out and evangelizing new Java technologies.

Java.sg showcases the author’s work in Java in quite a timely fashion. The site runs mostly Java specific contents such as Java EE, design patterns, architectures, Java containers and servers.

Moving to the cloud, he is currently migrating a highly available Oracle + WebLogic Web Reservation Application into Tomcat and DynamoDB in Amazon AWS for scalability and cost efficiency.

He is currently developing a Hotel Reservation and Management SAAS hobby application using state of art Java technologies such as JSF2, JSecurity, WildFly that he may run on VMWare or Amazon AWS.
